Post Finding your way....

after trying(and success) for quite some time to complete quests in the new country of Cantha, i have found out that it's very hard to find the right path for the quests objectives, the marker perphas shows the place you need to get to but it doesn't shows the path to there , sometimes u can't be sure whats the right way by the maps cause their drawings are (sometimes) hard to understand and hard to find the right way, and therefore getting stuck sometimes, and need to go back and try another way, it can take more time to find the path to the quest objective than completing it.

i think that adding a "pathfinding system" to the game should help us (players) out in finding our way, based on the same "red dots where you walked" system creating a system that will show you on the minimap the right path for the desired quest. or even better the ability to put a custom marker on the map and the system will find the best way for us to get there from our current position.

i think it is very needed these days in the Market area in cantha where all these buildings are making it very hard to find the way for the quest objective....

what you think about it? has it been posted b4?

It would be painfully boring to just follow the red-dotted road everywhere without ever having to look at the map or even explore the map for that matter.

Puzzles, Mazes, fun, thank you A.net for a landscape that wasn't an open field or narrow yet direct path.

Spend some time exploring and opening your map. You will learn your way around eventually. I think Anet planned it that way so it is more of a challenge when you are new to the area.

time equal money and there are more than a few quests in Cantha that require it... i just felt i spend more time walking than doing somthing... so i thought that if i would see the right path straight away it will (duhh) take less time, but i guess u right it would take away some challange....

gg i guess they not gonna change anyway....

/notsigned. I have never had a problem finding my way throughout the map. You want something easy to navigate? Go do some desert quests :P. The game would be too easy. Man.
